Embrace the present moment through breathing exercises, mindfulness, and other forms of meditation. Train your mind to induce a mode of consciousness to reach inner peace. This class will contain approximately 20-minutes of philosophy, 50 minutes of asana, and 20-minutes of meditation.
This class will explore numerous aspects of yoga, beginning with a centering and brief teaching on yogic philosophy, which will be woven into the class. You will be led through classical yoga poses that will be presented to have numerous variations that will assist you in developing a practice that meets you and your body's needs. Classes will end with a brief meditation and moment of gratitude, which will allow you to reenter the world with a sense of peacefulness. You are invited to move at your own pace and listen to what your body needs, without judgment.
