This 4-week series is suitable for all levels of experience. Classes are designed to:
Introduce various styles of meditation to help you find a style that is best suited for you
introduce the benefits of practicing meditation
techniques to help you develop a daily routine
and, how to overcome challenges commonly discovered while meditating
This series is based on the book, Meditation for Your Life by Robert Butera, PhD. Each class will include gentle movement and stretching, yoga philosophy, sharing, journaling and up to 30 minutes of meditation. Please note that building up to a 30 minute meditation practice can take time. During the meditation, if you become uncomfortable, you are always welcome to move, journal, or lay down.
Return home with an increased sense of peace and equanimity and a little more mindful of your daily stressors with tools to help reduce them.
